Finally, J has COME BACK to his voting precinct

Yes, I dare say its true. After sitting out the last two elections, cause Im a lazy bitch admittedly... the current state of the world prompted me to reregister, and now I can officially piss, moan and complain if a certain Texan stays in office.

From what everyone I know has told me though, my only regret is that no one challenged me walking in to vote... cause I had a full arsenal of sarcastic shit to spew, in that J fashion my friends know and love. Hell, Im almost tempted to get back in line later... just so I can.

GO VOTE... cause if you dont, your a lazy bitch just like I used to be. Course, if W. wins by the electoral college again (fucker), your vote wouldnt matter anyway.

Canuckin' roommates

It feels so good to be able to officially rant and rave:

So, good ol' Georgy-weorgy was brought back?! Amazing to me, a man who is a proven dumbass, has the largest job loss record of any President, has thrown the largest deficit ever in US history at us, made Iraq so much better off than it was and Im obviously forgetting other statistics... won both the popular vote and electoral college?!

The man is so loved, in fact, and we're all so fuckin' happy to have him back for another 4 years... Im not surprised I read this article today on Netscape News.

I want to personally thank anyone who voted for the man... for sending me and my friends to Hell a whole lot faster than some of us were already; and for making sure my 6 yr old niece, and 5 yr old nephew will have to help pay off his deficit as they grow up.

Thanks, fuckos.

Collection schedule

Since Ive been a lazy bitch in my posting lately... ah hell, suggesting lately isnt even accurate as Ive been pretty lazy in my posts for a good couple months. And by a couple months, Im making reference to my going longer than even 7 days to do posts. One post a week has been the norm for a while... but this two week lapse has been fairly recent.

In light of that, and since I cant think of anything right now; Im gonna list my DVD buying schedule for the next 2 months (or the remainder of November and December), whether you care or not...

November 30th:

  • Spider-Man 2: SE... obviously I'll be buying this one when it comes out. Liked it in theaters, so it will have a place in my collection.
  • Daredevil: DC... I own the first release, and liked the movie ok. Ive read this release is much darker than the original adding 40 minutes of new footage and making Elektra more a background character, as they included a lot of Elektra in the theatrical release to add a love story into it.
  • Hero... havent seen this, but looked very good and have heard good things. Not a definite addition, but a good contender

December 7th:

  • 24: Season 3... definite addition, as this is one of my 2 favorite shows on TV now (the other being The Shield).
  • The Bourne Supremacy... I own the first one in this series, and have heard good things about this sequel, although I didnt see it in theaters. Not a definite addition... but surely something Im gonna think about.
  • Dodgeball... same thing as Bourne Supremacy, didnt watch it when it was out, but heard very good things about it. Possibility.
  • Gargoyles: Season 1... finally, one of my favorite cartoon series has come to DVD. I watched this show all the time, and itll definitely be an addition to my collection.

December 14th

  • I, Robot... boy, theres a lot of DVDs here of movies I havent actually watched; this being another one and one Ive heard some good things about... and just like the others its a definite possibility.
  • Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Extended Edition)... this is a definite, that will be the last piece of my extended editions. Finally, one I saw in theaters too... and loved, by the way; a classic that everyone should love.
  • Top Gun: SE... I'll be picking the special edition version of the adventures of Maverick and Goose when it comes out; great movie, even greater for those of us who own home theater systems (me not being one of them, sadly).

December 28th

  • Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy... another addition to the list of movies I havent actually seen, but is a good contender for my collection. Im a fan of Will Ferrell as well, which also gives extra points to this one.
  • Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence... this one is a little different than the other movies I havent actually seen, as this one is gonna be a definite addition to the collection. I have the first one on this series, a classic example of Japanese animation (or japanimation, as its commonly known).

There you have it, my DVD buying schedule for the next few weeks... dont worry, the brain cells you wasted reading all of this are gone forever. Enjoy...

Back when I was a spokesmodel

Recently, in my mountain biking travels... I had to make an addition to my wardrobe. You see, hunting season has started and the woods behind my parents place (my most frequent spot) is open ground for anyone who wants to go out; bikers, people on ATV's, and (yes) now hunters.

I kinda thought it might be a good idea to buy myself the hunters own garb... so I could plainly be seen biking through the woods, and lessen my chances of being mistaken for a silver and blue deer with wheels.

So I went out and got myself a (practically glow in the dark) orange sweatshirt for biking back in the woods. Even my mom, who was driving home as I was riding back to the house Saturday, said she could see me from down the street as I was wearing it.

I glow in the dark now

Looking down at my new hot tangerine sweatshirt after my first ride with it on, though... made me think Id be a damn good product model for Edys Swiss Orange sherbert.
