Long time, no J

Boy, you would think I fell off the face of the Earth, considering how long its been. I know, I know... how could I this to all of you, how could I treat you all that way by denying you a much needed J fix, blah blah blah.

Its not even that nothings happened in the last two months, there were just very few times I really thought about the fact I wasnt updating. Now that I do have a spare moment, and actually remember there are some people that read this (as few as you are)... I guess I should fill you all in the happenings, even as condensed as the explanations will have to be.

First, I should prolly tell you about the time my girlfriend, Jenn, and I put a bid in on a house... lost the bid... then won the bid when the original people who won it, lost it... and just in time for the title work to be started, backed out of the bid. It was mainly financial, just as everything usually is, but when the life of a hermit is your most likely situation after financing 76K; its a tough decision, but an ultimately necessary one.

House

We're both still pretty bummed about our decision, as we both really loved the house; but as I mentioned it was a necessary one. It took a lot of talking and some minor roadblocks to open our eyes, if you will; and I still think we made the right decision, when its all said and done. There are still moments, though, I wonder what could have been if wed have stayed in and went through with it. I can imagine wed have been pretty happy for a while, until a moment where we couldnt do something or afford something because of how strapped wed be... and, honestly, neither of us were comfortable with that.

I have some pics I took inside the house, that I will post so you all can see; and strangely I have no doubt I will put those up long before the two picture journals Ive been "working" on since I took the pics, for the first one, around my birthday in February.

Now that I look back at what I just typed, thats not really a condensed explanation; but seeing as that is the only real major point to hit, I think its ok to make it a little longer than I originally thought.

The part that is better for condensing is our search for someplace else to live, as I think Ive documented our displeasure with our current place. Overall the place is nice, but the lack of available high speed internet, and (for lack of a better word) stupid placement of our air conditioner are just two of the bigger reasons we want out.

We did just recently find a place, which oddly enough was one of the first places we looked. We settled on an apartment, since we found considering renting a house... either financially it would be about the same as if we bought the house we bid on, or the house was nowhere near the quality we wanted. We move in at the end of the month, so now comes the task of packing and such.

We're both looking forward to it... its bigger overall (or seems that way anyway) than our current place, as well as having central air (woohoo!) and being serviced by our local cable-internet-providing cable provider.

Hey, as I was literally just asked by a good buddy of mine... maybe the the high speed internet will get me off my ass to update more?! Or maybe itll just make you all think I will. Either way.
