Theres an evil monkey in my possession
Well well well, here I am again; here to tell you a little story about a present I got that ranks as one of the best I can remember.
It all started when my lovely girlfriend Jenn informed me of some Sweetest Day presents she had bought me; they were small gifts (her words) but nonetheless, she was anxious to give them to. She ended up a little upset because once Sweetest Day rolled around, only 2 of the 5 presents she bought me had arrived. Even now, one is still out there, supposedly on its way to us.
Well, number 4, at least in the order they arrived, must have gotten here today or yesterday. So, as I was sitting at our dining room table after having just got in from half a day of work, she comes walking into the room with whats pictured below.
Yes, thats right... my girlfriend bought me an 11" Family Guy Evil Monkey statue. For those who dont know, Family Guy is one of my two absolute fav shows (the other being 24) and the Evil Monkey is my fav character from Family Guy. Ive even went so far as to ask Jenns parents make me a custom Evil Monkey tshirt a while back, which I wear proudly. After she walked into the room with that statue, Ive probably come the closest Ive ever come to screaming like a little girl... you couldnt have sand-blasted the smile off my face.
I mean, cmon now... Im sitting here right now, having already spent the time taking a photo, resizing that photo, uploading that photo and now typing a small story about my new toy; I would say Im pretty pleased to get him.
Thats pretty much it about the Evil Monkey, I just wanted to share my recent source of schoolgirl giddyness.
I would like to end this post with two items:
1) My picturejournal from Mexico (yeah, my trip from a couple months ago) is about 90% done, and will hopefully be up soon. Not that it matters, but Im just telling you.
2) As you could probably tell from the picture at right, I recently got my ears pierced. Well I cant really say it was recently, but nonetheless I got my ears pierced and have been in the process of sizing up since the initial piercing.
